Matured beef fillets are used for this great product. The centre cut is smothered in game pate before we lay it on a bed of cepe mushrooms, then we wrap in a buttery puff pastry and finish it of with a golden glaze. Its always a highlight of any christmas table.
Our beef fillets are matured for 28 days or more and produces a very tender product. The cattle are grass fed and the maturation of the beef ensures that your christmas centre piece will be at its very best, delighting your family & friends. Our fillets are trimmed to Michelin star standard therefore we ensure you get the central part of the fillet which is nicely marbled for flavour. The beef comes from the Macduff farm in Scotland and is one of the very best beef products in the UK. All the animals are naturally farmed and grass fed and free from growth hormones.
TOP TIP: cook for 30 – 40 minutes in a hot oven at 190 degrees until golden brown
